Let the top half inch of the soil dry out before rewatering. Allow around 1 week between watering, but do not maintain a strict schedule - keep a track on the soil instead.
Fertilize during the growing season when the plant can absorb it. Roseopicta's roots are delicate so you must dilute synthetic fertilizers to 1/4 or 1/2 of the recommended dosage.
Indirect bright light is ideal for Calathea (away from direct sunlight). A space with adequate artificial lighting would also work.
Avoid any direct air conditions drafts and keep the room temperature between 16 and 26 degrees.
Since Calathea Roseopicta is a sensitive plant, the general recommendation is to repot no more frequently than every second year. Only repot one size up - one or 2 inches in diameter.
