Ensure the soil is dry when watering Dracaena. Water the plant after every 4 or 5 days. You can reduce the frequency on once every month when the plant is mature. Avoid overwatering as it can hurt the plant and cause brownness on the leave tips. Consider planting these plants on well-drained soil. Sand mixed with garden soil or pebbles would be a nice choice for enhancing water drainage.
Feed the plant with low-strength fertilizer. Fertilizing should happen after every three months. Pour the fertilizer around the soil on the plant base. Never use fertilizers with high boron, fluoride, and superphosphate.
Place Draceana in a filtered or indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight as it can lead to scorching of the plant leaves.
Dracaena Massangeana performs well in a temperature range of 18-22 degrees Celsius. Any temperature lower than 13 degrees Celsius will hurt the plant.
The plant requires repotting per year or after two years. Ensure you have a fresh potting mix during the process. Also, lift up the plant carefully. Hold the base of the plant to avoid damaging it.
